What It Is
Sell a done-for-you online presence package to local home service businesses: a website, a logo/brand file package, a domain-based email, Facebook and Google Business Profile cleanup, branded QR codes and business cards, and an automated Google review system (including a 'review reactivation' text campaign to past customers). The guest, James, finds about 90% of his prospects in local Facebook groups, where contractors post or are recommended, does about 30 seconds of research (Gmail address, missing domain, weak logo, no local number), then calls to say he's local and saw their post before explaining what he does. He now charges $2,000 for setup (split in two payments) and $349 a month, runs it on GoHighLevel, and pays a Philippines-based VA $800-$1,000 a month plus a $50-per-client logo designer on Upwork.
The Pitch
James says he went from zero clients to almost 60 paying monthly in 16 months, made $18,000 last month at about 85-90% margin, and closes roughly 4% of the businesses he dials. He argues local, personal calls stand out when most agencies send mass cold emails, and that established businesses with a customer list but few reviews are his 'golden prospects'.
Who It’s Best For
Friendly, patient people comfortable on the phone who want a recurring-revenue service business with local small businesses.
The Truth (as we see it)
This is a detailed, credible look at a common agency model, and the advice to promise better online presence rather than guaranteed leads is honest. The revenue, close rate and churn figures are the guest's own and unverified, and the host's projection of $30,000 a month after three months is theoretical math, not a result. The work involves regular sales calls and ongoing client support, and some businesses may be met in person. Chris Koerner promotes his GoHighLevel affiliate link and a $19 business plan in the episode, and the guest runs a YouTube channel and Skool community about his calling approach.
