Review Request Automation Service

Automated Google review request texts and emails for high-volume local businesses ($99-$299/month)

Video published Oct 23, 2026 by Noah Anderberg

Startup cost: Moderate startup cost (GoHighLevel subscription after a 30-day free trial) (our estimate; the video doesn’t give figures)

What It Is

You find local businesses with few or stale Google reviews (the creator's example list is plumbers in Arkansas, built with an AI lead-list tool inside GoHighLevel) and contact the owner with one question: how does your team ask for a review after a job? You then set up automated SMS and email workflows that fire when a job is marked complete in their CRM (such as Housecall Pro), sending a personalized message with a direct Google review link and follow-ups until the customer leaves a review. The creator charges $99, $199 or $299 a month depending on how many requests are sent, closes with a 14-day free trial, and uses the trial to send requests to the business's past customer list.

The Pitch

The creator says most local businesses do hundreds of jobs but have few reviews because nobody asks consistently, and that this hurts their Google Maps ranking against competitors with hundreds of reviews. He calls the service set-and-forget monthly recurring revenue, best suited to businesses that serve many customers a day, like salons, dentists and pet-waste companies.

Who It’s Best For

People comfortable contacting business owners and learning automation software, who want a small recurring-revenue service they can run remotely.

The Truth (as we see it)

Review request automation is a real, widely sold service, and the creator's prospecting logic is concrete. However, it requires cold outreach and sales conversations, and the software has an ongoing monthly cost. The creator runs his own review agency and promotes GoHighLevel through his affiliate link, with a bonus stack and a free Skool community (snapshots, templates, a 7-day course) tied to signing up; income from the service is not shown or verified. "Set and forget" understates the support clients need, and the market is crowded with similar agencies.
