What It Is
You produce user-generated-style video and image ads for fast-growing consumer brands such as supplement gummies and energy drinks, filming some yourself and generating others with AI avatar tools. A common starting point is recreating a competitor's long-running ad from Meta's free Ad Library with the prospect's own product. Brands pay per video or a monthly retainer.
The Pitch
Dang's client Brian was a recent graduate with some UGC freelancing experience; Dang says that after reframing it as a business, one client alone pays Brian more than $10,000 a month. Dang suggests targeting brands that show buying signals, such as stale ad creative, a recent funding round, or job posts for UGC coordinators, and messaging 20 to 40 of them a day. He demonstrates making sample ads with Arcads, the video's sponsor.
Who It’s Best For
Younger, trend-aware people who know what works on TikTok and Instagram and are comfortable on camera or with AI video tools.
The Truth (as we see it)
Demand for high volumes of ad creative is real, and copying the format of proven ads is standard industry practice. Copying too closely, though, can raise trademark or copyright issues, and AI-generated 'customer' videos may need disclosure under advertising rules. The $10,000+ client figure is one story from his coach. The video is sponsored by Arcads and promotes Dang's free skill, live training and coaching calls.
