What It Is
You run a Shopify store selling mostly t-shirts printed and shipped by Printify, and tune it the way Meg and her partner Chris do while reviewing viewers' stores live. Their fixes: put every design in one collection, remove the email pop-up bar that blocks mobile screens, keep the add-to-cart button above the fold, vary shirt colors on the collection page, and set shipping to about $4.87 under $75 with free shipping at $75 and up. Build the first 100 designs in planned batches (for example 15-30 each of typography, graphic, and typography plus graphic, across humor, inside jokes and other angles). Run a catalog ad at about $25 a day, judge each design's own cost per click (aim under $1, ideally 50-75 cents), cut losers, and raise the budget 15-20% every two to three days once return on ad spend passes 2.0.
The Pitch
They share their own brand's figures: $322,000 in sales one third quarter and $814,000 the next, with 77% of holiday-season sales coming from designs made months earlier and the top design selling 6,000 units at $29.99. They argue Q4 runs from early November to mid-December, that sending more email in that season lowered unsubscribes, and that a plain 'new designs added' email from the owner works best.
Who It’s Best For
Patient, detail-minded people who like tweaking a store and reading ad numbers, and can fund several weeks of ad testing.
The Truth (as we see it)
This is one of the more concrete free walkthroughs of running a print-on-demand store, with specific settings and numbers rather than hype. The sales figures are their own and unverified, and the livestream itself notes they come from a single brand. Ad testing costs real money before any profit, and the cost-per-click targets they quote are hard to hit with a small catalog. The stream promotes her free YouTube course, a free Skool community (cohort calls are also mentioned) and Build My POD, a free Shopify theme her team built.
