What It Is
You run a t-shirt brand on Shopify and let a print-on-demand company print and ship each order, so you hold no stock. The creator compares the three big providers on the same Gildan 64000 shirt: base cost on free plans is about $9.59 (Gelato), $9.63 (Printful) and $10.10 (Printify); US standard shipping is about $4.95 to $4.99, with a $3.99 economy option at Printify. She picks Printify for a single Shopify brand, using either 'Printify Choice' (it routes each order to a top-rated nearby printer) or a printer you choose from its weekly-updated scores. She advises skipping the paid plans ($24.99 to $39 a month) until sales are steady, and telling customers up front that shirts are made to order.
The Pitch
The creator says that after six years and trying all three, Printify scored 55 out of 60 against 51 each for Printful and Gelato, mainly on faster production (an average of 1.3 days on that shirt) and support that reprints or refunds faulty orders. She says Printful has the most consistent quality and Gelato may ship faster outside the US.
Who It’s Best For
Anyone setting up a work-at-home t-shirt store who wants to understand per-shirt costs and choose a printing partner without testing all three.
The Truth (as we see it)
The side-by-side prices and the warning that 'up to 33% off' plans actually saved 11 to 20% on this shirt are genuinely useful, and her scoring is openly based on her own experience, including a bad Gelato episode from 2022. Prices change, so check current rates. With roughly $15 in shirt and shipping costs against a $29.99 price, ad costs decide whether you make money. She does not say whether she has any business relationship with Printify. She repeatedly pushes her free 'Million Dollar Brand Blueprint', an email signup that funnels viewers toward her and her husband's paid WeScale course and community.
