What It Is
Take photos of empty rooms and return the same room with furniture added by an AI image model, charging about $25 per photo or $149 per listing. The creator builds a simple upload-and-stage app with an AI coding tool connected to an image model's pay-per-picture API, and his first staged photo cost 7 cents. He targets real estate photographers, who already shoot dozens of listings a month for agents, and uses an AI agent to send personalized cold emails offering a free sample on a current listing. Twilight shots, sky swaps and yard clean-ups can be added as extra lines on the same invoice.
The Pitch
The creator points to established companies charging $24 to $35 per staged image as proof of demand, while the AI cost is pennies. Selling to photographers means one relationship can bring in many agents' listings.
Who It’s Best For
People comfortable with basic AI tools and cold outreach who can judge whether a staged room looks believable.
The Truth (as we see it)
Virtual staging is a real, decade-old market, and AI has made the image cost close to zero, which also means low barriers and growing price pressure. The $3,000-a-month figure is the creator's own example math (20 listings), not a reported result. He correctly flags disclosure rules: staged photos must be labeled in some places (he cites a California law) and you may add furniture but not alter permanent features. The image platform used in the video is a paid sponsor of the show.
