Weekend-Built AI SaaS App

Weekend-built AI SaaS app: a game-style team of AI agents that markets your app

Video published Sep 20, 2026 by Erik Cupsa

Startup cost: Low to moderate startup cost (AI coding subscription, AI usage fees, hosting and database) (our estimate; the video doesn’t give figures)

What It Is

The creator built Fresia in 48 hours: a web app where five or six AI "specialist" agents, run by a "chief of staff" agent, handle growth chores like marketing emails, competitor research, SEO and ad ideas, shown as characters moving around a video-game-style office. He used Claude Code to research competitors, plan the architecture (Next.js, Supabase, Composio for Gmail, X, Reddit and Notion connections), build with sub-agents, then review the code for bugs and security. Users enter their product's domain, the app researches the business, and payments run through Stripe. He presents it alongside his earlier app Resumax, an AI job-search helper he says has over 25,000 users.

The Pitch

The creator says that in 2026 "building the app is no longer the hard part"; AI makes the coding fast, so the real challenge is finding a problem worth solving. He says Resumax, run as a weekend side project, has "generated thousands of dollars in revenue," and that a fun, visual interface can stand out when every other AI company ships the same chatbot.

Who It’s Best For

People who already code or are seriously technical and want to build a subscription software product as a side project.

The Truth (as we see it)

This is a build diary more than a business plan: the new app has no revenue or user numbers yet, and the older app's "thousands of dollars" over about eight months is modest and unverified. The creator is a working CTO, so the 48-hour timeline reflects years of engineering experience a beginner won't have. Apps that run many AI agents for users carry ongoing usage costs that can eat into subscription income, and connecting to people's Gmail and social accounts raises security responsibilities. The video is sponsored by Anthropic, maker of the coding tool it features.
