Sell a printed book directly on TikTok Shop without listing it on Amazon at all, using simple image-carousel posts (a few photos of the book's pages, an emotional hook, background music and a shoppable link) and putting ad money behind whichever post is already selling. Protect the margin by printing in bulk at low cost, sending stock to TikTok's own fulfillment service (Fulfilled by TikTok) for cheaper flat-rate shipping and a visibility boost, and charging customers for shipping.
His case study is a children's '100,000 answers'-style fact book he says did $100,000 in TikTok Shop revenue in 30 days at about $20 a copy. Its top post, a carousel with a parental-guilt hook ("I feel so guilty... She's already seven and I never read this with her"), brought in about $18,000 in sales on $3,000 of ads, with roughly half the revenue arriving organically. He estimates 20-30% profit margins and notes that selling somewhere besides Amazon protects you if Amazon ever blocks a book.
A publisher with a visual, giftable book who can fund a bulk print run and is comfortable running ads on posts that already sell.
The mechanics described are accurate, and carousel posts are genuinely cheap to produce. But the profit picture is his estimate: he says outright that he's guessing about where the book is printed and what it earns, and the revenue figures come from a third-party analytics tool, not from the seller. Bulk printing ties up cash before sales arrive, and this book format is crowded with near-identical titles (he notes the originators may try to trademark the name), so copying the concept closely carries risk. The video promotes his $17 mini-course and coaching.
