What It Is
Instead of waiting months for a new blog to get traffic, use the SEO and content skills you're learning to sell simple services to other businesses: basic SEO, content writing, or managing a local business's Google listing. You pick a target market (his example is local SEO for dentists), find clients through direct email and LinkedIn outreach, and charge a monthly fee. Your own site doesn't need any traffic for this to work.
The Pitch
Enfroy says this is how he started in 2019: he did simple SEO work for software companies and made $5,000 to $10,000 a month before his blog earned any affiliate money. He calls it an accelerant, because the service income pays for your first writer, who can then write for both your clients and your own blog. His example pricing is $200 to $500 for managing a local business's Google listing or doing simple SEO for it, and he says students in his program are charging a few thousand dollars per client. His advice is to reach out to prospects directly instead of waiting for them to find you, and he suggests taking the Google Analytics and Google Ads exams to build credibility.
Who It’s Best For
Someone learning SEO or blogging who wants income in months rather than years, and who is comfortable sending cold emails and LinkedIn messages and handling client work and calls.
The Truth (as we see it)
Doing freelance SEO and local-listing work for small businesses is a real, common service business, and a fast way to earn while a content site grows is sound advice. Enfroy's own $5,000-$10,000 a month came with an advantage he admits: he had already worked with an SEO team and as an affiliate manager at a tech company, so a beginner should expect to start lower and spend real time on outreach. Student results and per-client prices are his claims and aren't verified. The video is a long free course that promotes his paid Blog Growth Engine program (which teaches this services model) and a free masterclass email funnel, and it is sponsored by TubeBuddy. It was made in early 2024, so tools and prices may have changed.
