Luna Vega · How I Made $1,793 Selling Digital Products on Threads (Using AI) ↗
What It Is
You sell digital products (ebooks, spreadsheets, Canva or Notion templates) from Etsy, Gumroad or Stan Store and market them only through text posts on Threads. Each morning you spend 15 to 20 minutes seeing which hooks and pain points get replies in your niche, then use a ChatGPT prompt to draft threads, adding your own numbers and stories. You post three to five threads a day, batch-written on Sundays and scheduled, repost winning threads a few weeks later with a fresh hook, and leave thoughtful two-to-three sentence comments on 5 to 10 popular posts daily. Story formats include cliffhangers, before-and-after, aha moments and vulnerable wins.
The Pitch
The creator says she made $1,793 in 24 hours from her Etsy digital products with no ad spend, using Threads as her main marketing. She argues Threads lets readers click direct links, rewards consistent posting even for small accounts, and does not require showing your face or editing video.
Who It’s Best For
People who already have, or plan to make, a digital product and like writing short personal posts every day.
The Truth (as we see it)
Text-based social posting is a reasonable, low-cost way to drive traffic, and the daily routine she describes is concrete. The $1,793 figure is her own and unverified, and as an established seller she may have had advantages a beginner lacks. Results depend on Threads' algorithm, which can change. She promotes her paid mini-course, "the sales boosting traffic formula".
