Affiliate Launches via Google Ads

Affiliate for online product launches using Google search ads

Video published Nov 1, 2026 by Bruno Matos

Startup cost: Needs ongoing ad budget (the guest spent roughly 500 to 1,000 reais per launch) (our estimate; the video doesn’t give figures)

What It Is

Find upcoming launches of online courses and digital products, sign up as an affiliate, and run Google search ads on the product and creator's name during the launch window, earning a commission on each sale. A launch has a fixed timeline (a lead-capture phase, then the cart opens and closes), so the ad budget runs for a set period and then stops. The guest, a programmer with a full-time job, works on it after his kids are asleep and targets English-language launches to earn in dollars. He says one launch turned about 800 into roughly 6,000 in revenue, while two earlier launches made nothing.

The Pitch

The host argues that launches are easier to manage than always-on offers because you stop when the launch ends, and that one good launch can make up for several losses. He advises picking launches where the producer is clearly running lots of ads, since that sends searchers to Google where your ad is waiting.

Who It’s Best For

Analytical people who like working with numbers, are comfortable losing a test budget, and can learn search-ad campaign setup.

The Truth (as we see it)

Bidding on launches as an affiliate is a real tactic, but results are lumpy: the guest's own story includes losing launches, a negative balance after supplement refunds, and only a few wins. Many product owners forbid affiliates from bidding on their brand name, so read each program's terms first or you may lose commissions. Income figures are in Brazilian reais and are the guest's own. The video is an interview with a student and repeatedly promotes the host's paid mentorship and a Black Friday offer on his training.
