Jesse Cunningham · How I Build 50 Websites to Take Over Any State ↗

What It Is

Instead of one general website, you split a trade into its sub-niches (the example is roofing: metal roofing, roof replacement, storm and hail, and so on) and build a separate specialist microsite for each sub-niche in each suburb, so 4 services across 5 towns becomes a grid of 20 sites. Each site is 30-50 pages, built with AI from a structured brief, and has its own tracked phone number answered 24/7 by an AI agent that qualifies the caller and sends a transcript. The leads are either sold to contractors (rank and rent), passed to an SEO client, or worked directly if you own the business. Sites that don't produce calls are dropped and the winners kept.

The Pitch

The creator argues Google increasingly rewards specialist sites over generalists, and that the map pack is shrinking because of AI Overviews, so many narrow sites can catch searches a single big site misses. He says sites now cost little more than the domain to build with AI, so it doesn't matter if some fail. He shows community members' results, such as one member reporting 18 calls in a day.

Who It’s Best For

People who already understand local SEO, or a contractor or SEO agency wanting to expand into surrounding suburbs, and who can manage dozens of domains and phone lines. It needs patience and an organized, systematic approach.

The Truth (as we see it)

Specialist exact-match sites ranking for narrow local searches is a real and long-used tactic, and the creator's footprint advice (no interlinking, domain privacy, no shared Google Search Console account) reflects the real risk that Google treats a network as spam; he says a friend lost 300+ sites overnight that way. Running many near-identical local sites remains a gray area under Google's spam policies, and rankings can disappear in an algorithm update. Costs grow with scale: domains, hosting, call tracking and AI phone answering add up across dozens of sites, and someone still has to sell the leads. Call counts and member results are the creator's own and unaudited. Jesse Cunningham sells membership in his own Rank Expand Academy (a paid online community with a 7-day free trial, Microsite Playbook and Microsite Empire modules, weekly calls and a one-click microsite builder) and promotes it throughout the video, along with his niche-scoring tool at tool.rankexpand.com.
