What It Is
You pick a skill you already have (sales, fitness, art, a trade, a business you run) and package it into a paid offer such as a course, guide, community or one-on-one mentorship. You post short-form content on Instagram and TikTok to reach a broad audience, plus longer YouTube videos to build trust, and end posts with calls to action like "comment a keyword for a free training." Interested viewers fill out a Typeform that screens them on budget and seriousness, then book a sales call through Calendly, where you close them into a program priced around $2,000-$5,000. Payments and delivery run through platforms such as Whop, Stripe, Skool, Gumroad or Fanbase, and later you hire editors and DM "setters" to handle repetitive work.
The Pitch
The creator says he tried dropshipping, trading and copywriting and lost money before this worked, and that most successful online gurus actually earn from selling information. He argues you only need to be a few steps ahead of your buyer, that there is essentially no startup cost, and that one $4,000-$5,000 sale a month can replace a job income. He reports over $217,000 in sales and shows a student he says did about $163,000.
Who It’s Best For
People with a real, demonstrable skill who are comfortable on camera and on sales calls, and willing to post content consistently for months before it pays.
The Truth (as we see it)
Selling coaching or courses on top of personal-brand content is a real and common model, and the funnel he lays out (content, free lead magnet, qualification form, booked call) is standard practice. The income figures, including the student's revenue, are the creator's own and unaudited, and he admits most people should expect three to six months before reaching around $5,000 a month. Charging thousands for coaching carries a real obligation to deliver results; the "only a few steps ahead" advice can lead to thin offers if you don't have a genuine track record. The work requires appearing on camera and closing sales calls. The creator sells his own mentorship, linked in the description, so the video doubles as a pitch for it.
