AI-Built Dropshipping Store

AI-built Shopify dropshipping store tested with Meta image and AI UGC ads

Video published Sep 29, 2026 by Davie Fogarty

Startup cost: Needs ongoing ad budget (Meta ads; about $100 a day while testing, $250+ a day when scaling, plus Shopify and AI tool subscriptions)

What It Is

You find trending products in the Facebook Ad Library using filters (ads running at least 7 days, some ad spend, newest first), then do a "Google check": if the product is easy to find cheaply in shops or Google Shopping, skip it. You source from AliExpress, create product photos and ad images with AI (Claude writes a detailed prompt from a Pinterest reference, Higgsfield generates and edits the image, Canva assembles the ad) and aim for about 10 ads per product. Claude, connected to Shopify, builds the store, brand voice and product pages, and you launch broad Meta campaigns, one per product. In the video the first products didn't sell; AI-generated UGC video ads and more testing eventually found a product that did.

The Pitch

Davie Fogarty, who says he has done over a billion dollars in e-commerce sales, argues AI shrinks weeks of store-building and creative work into a day. He recommends launching several products at once and letting customer data pick the winner. His student reports $1,000 in sales by day two of one test and about $42,000 in 8 days once a winning product was found.

Who It’s Best For

People with some marketing skill and a budget they can afford to lose on ad testing, who are comfortable with fast trial and error.

The Truth (as we see it)

The workflow is concrete and current, and the video honestly shows false starts, a store that didn't convert at first, and that finding a product took longer than planned. The headline numbers are sales, not profit; ad spend was heavy, and the student already worked in e-commerce marketing, so she was not a typical beginner. The winning product was kept secret, so the results can't be checked. Davie promotes his own paid mentoring program (Daily Mentor) and the video carries a sponsored accounting-software ad; also check that AI product images match exactly what the supplier ships, as he advises, to avoid misleading customers.
