You find local businesses with no website or an outdated one, through Fiverr and Upwork or by searching Google Maps (for example "landscaper near me"). You design homepage and inner-page mockups in ChatGPT, have Claude Code turn the mockups into a working mobile-friendly site, and deploy a demo to Vercel's free plan. You send the owner the live link with an offer to put it on their domain, then charge to build it plus an optional $50 to $100 monthly retainer for updates and hosting.
The Pitch
The creator says he built websites for a living before YouTube and that it let him leave his job; with AI a site that took weeks now takes an afternoon. He argues that showing a finished demo is far easier to say yes to than a sales pitch, and that 10 clients at $100 a month would be $1,000 a month in recurring income.

Spec-website outreach is a well-known model, and AI tools do make building a demo fast. The hard part, as the creator admits, is finding clients: many owners ignore unsolicited messages, and those who reply will expect edits, domain setup, hosting and support. A site built by AI still needs checking for broken links, accessibility and basic SEO, and the $1,000 monthly figure is an illustration, not a reported result.
