AI Influencer Affiliate Videos

What It Is

You create one consistent AI-generated character with a name and face, and use it in every video on a TikTok account. You pick products from the TikTok Shop discover tab, which shows top sellers daily, and use an AI UGC tool such as OpenArt to make short videos where the avatar talks about and holds the product. When viewers buy through the tagged product, you earn a commission, without buying or shipping anything.

The Pitch

The creator says he built his own AI influencer and made real sales from it. He rates the cost as high, the effort as medium (you must post consistently), and the potential as high, because one viral video with millions of views can drive a lot of commissions and you can promote any product.

Who It’s Best For

People comfortable with AI video tools who want to sell through content without appearing on camera, and who can post consistently.

The Truth (as we see it)

TikTok Shop affiliate commissions are real, and AI avatars are being used this way. TikTok requires AI-generated content to be labeled and restricts misleading AI personas, so undisclosed AI influencers risk reduced reach or account action, and showing an AI avatar "using" a product it never used can raise FTC endorsement concerns. TikTok Shop affiliate is only available in some countries. The creator doesn't share his own earnings, and the link to the AI tool in his description may be an affiliate link.
