Automated Local Facebook Page

AI-automated local city Facebook page driving traffic to a city website (monetization, ads, newsletter, lead gen)

Video published Oct 30, 2026 by James Ranks

Startup cost: Very low startup cost (AI agent subscription once paid plans launch, a domain and hosting, small data-scraping budget) (our estimate; the video doesn’t give figures)

What It Is

You create a hyper-local Facebook page for one city with a strong identity (for example a single city rather than a whole state) and use an AI agent (the creator uses TabBot) to generate and schedule posts: listicle reels built from stock city footage, branded image posts with curiosity-gap hooks, and text questions or trivia. Posts follow a set daily time-slot schedule, are bulk-scheduled weeks ahead through Meta Business Suite, and push readers to a link in the first comment pointing to your own city website. Money comes from Facebook's content monetization program once the page qualifies, display ads on the site, a local newsletter you can sell sponsorships in, and 'best of' listicles on the site that send leads to your own rank-and-rent or local client businesses.

The Pitch

The creator says Facebook pays content creators better than other platforms and is easier to go viral on, showing a page that reached 154,000 views in under a week of automated posting. He claims the Facebook referral traffic also lifted his websites' Google organic traffic, creating a flywheel between the page, the site and local lead generation. He says the AI agent can produce weeks of content overnight.

Who It’s Best For

Someone who enjoys social media content and automation tools and wants a faceless, home-based traffic asset they can build up over months.

The Truth (as we see it)

Local city pages are a real and common model, and the monetization layers he lists (ads, newsletter sponsors, local lead sales) are legitimate, but none of the income is shown and his traffic results are a few days of his own analytics. The claim that Facebook referral clicks boost Google rankings is his interpretation, and related tactics he mentions, like buying pop-under or microworker traffic to fake engagement signals, are manipulation that can backfire. Facebook's monetization program has eligibility rules and country limits, and Meta penalizes engagement bait and unoriginal content, so heavy AI posting (especially AI images of celebrities) risks reach cuts or page restrictions. He says he earns nothing from the TabBot link, whose paid pricing is not yet known, but he does point viewers to domain and website-building services in his description that appear to be his own.
