What It Is
Have an AI agent read posts on X where freelancers and small business owners complain about a recurring chore, shortlist five problems, then build a one-page tool that fixes one of them in under a minute. The example is an invoice tool that is free to use but charges $9 a month for automatic payment reminders. The agent hosts it (for example on Cloudflare), connects Stripe for payments, and each day drafts replies to people posting about that problem with a link to the tool.
The Pitch
A featured creator, Jordan, says his first tool brought in his first $9.60 with the building, traffic and checkout all handled by the agent while he slept. The host likes the approach of small, cheap tools solving specific pain points and says it can lead to bigger needs as you learn more about the customers.
Who It’s Best For
Tinkerers comfortable with AI coding tools who are happy to start with small, uncertain income.
The Truth (as we see it)
Building small paid tools with AI is realistic now, and starting from real complaints is a sensible way to find problems. The income shown is tiny, and the '$95 a day' figure mentioned has no evidence behind it. Automated replies to strangers on X can look like spam and may get an account limited, and the host notes the first example tool was a weak idea. You also stay responsible for support, security and keeping the tool running if the agent subscription changes. The video is sponsored by Zapier.
