Side Hustle Intel is a free, twice-monthly newsletter. We have no affiliates, no courses, and nothing to sell you — and that extends to your data. We don't sell it, rent it, or trade it. Ever.

This policy explains what we collect when you subscribe at SideHustleIntel.org, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies only to this website.

Who we are

Information we collect

We only collect information through our newsletter signup form. When you subscribe, we collect:

Information you give us: your first name, last name, and email address.
Information sent automatically with your signup: your browser and device type (the "user agent" your browser reports) and the referring web address that sent you to our site, if any. We use this only to understand how people find us and which devices they use.

We do not collect your IP address or your geographic location, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site.

How we use your information

To send you the Side Hustle Intel newsletter and related updates.
To understand, in aggregate, how readers find and access our site so we can improve it.
To respond to you if you contact us directly.

We will not use your information for any purpose unrelated to the newsletter without telling you first.

How your information is handled

When you submit the signup form, your information is sent securely to our automation provider (n8n), which routes it to the email system we use to manage and send the newsletter. These providers process your data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Our site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive standard technical request information (such as your browser type) as part of delivering those fonts. We do not control Google's practices; see Google's own privacy policy for details.

How long we keep it

We keep your subscription information for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we remove it from our active mailing list promptly.

Your choices and rights

Unsubscribe anytime. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to opt out.
Access or deletion. You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have these rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA (California).

Children's privacy

This site and newsletter are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes affecting how we use your information will be communicated to subscribers by email.
