White-Label Messaging Software

White-label messaging and review software resold to local businesses (Podium-style)

Video published Aug 28, 2026 by John Whitford

Startup cost: Moderate startup cost (monthly fee for a white-label software platform after a free trial) (our estimate; the video doesn’t give figures)

What It Is

You rent a white-label software platform and resell it under your own brand to local service businesses, copying the features of Podium, a company valued at over $3 billion: a unified inbox for texts, emails and social messages, website chat, automated review requests and basic automations. In the platform's settings you create plans and prices (the creator mirrors Podium's $399 and $599 monthly tiers), turn features on or off, and connect a checkout page so new clients get their accounts automatically. He says each new client takes under 30 minutes to set up.

The Pitch

The creator argues that monthly subscriptions mean you never start from zero each month. His spreadsheet shows that signing five clients a week at $399, with 20% churn, passes $500 a day in recurring revenue within about 10 weeks, and he says he runs his own white-label brand, FreedomKit, with over 2,500 sub-accounts.

Who It’s Best For

People with some sales confidence who want a recurring-revenue software business without coding, and who can handle basic customer support.

The Truth (as we see it)

Reselling white-label software is a real model, but the income table is a projection, and signing five local businesses a week is hard for a beginner. The video does not name the underlying platform or its monthly cost, and the extended trial, website template, scripts and 'free course' are offered through the creator's links, so he likely earns referral commissions. You compete with Podium's brand and support team, so expect churn and support requests. How clients are found is left to his training.
