Luna Vega · How I Made $12,496 in One Week Building Mini Web Apps With Claude ↗
What It Is
You use Perplexity to mine Reddit for one micro-problem in a specific audience, then a Claude prompt ranks five app ideas by ease of building and income potential. A second prompt in Claude chat writes a vibe-coding prompt for a single index.html file (HTML, CSS and JavaScript only, browser storage, no backend) that gives a quick win in 60 seconds; you paste it into Lovable, Bolt, Cursor or Claude to build it, like her ADHD "Reset" app. You sell it for $7 to $47 behind a Gumroad or GoHighLevel sales page. Further Claude prompts write your Threads bio, a seven-slide carousel ending in a comment keyword, a sales thread under 300 words, a three-message DM sequence for commenters, and a three-email welcome sequence that later introduces a bigger offer.
The Pitch
The creator says that after warming up a brand-new faceless Threads account for 30 days, she made $12,496 in one week with this method. She says students did similar things, citing one who made $1,782 in two weeks. Her reasoning is that buyers now want tools that deliver a result rather than long PDFs or courses, and that Threads lets new accounts get reach.
Who It’s Best For
Beginners comfortable with writing and testing who want a small, low-cost product and are willing to post on Threads daily.
The Truth (as we see it)
The single-file, no-backend approach keeps the build simple and cheap, which is realistic for non-programmers. The $12,496 week is unverified and came from a creator with years of online selling experience and an existing reputation, so beginners should expect slower results. Releasing the app free in Reddit or Facebook groups for testimonials, as she suggests, must follow each group's rules. The video links to her prompt pack and "surprises," and she sells coaching to students.
