Video published Oct 29, 2026 by Jake Bay
Startup cost: Moderate startup cost (about $200-$450 per pallet, a truck or trailer for pickup, storage space, a cross-listing app subscription) (our estimate; the video doesn’t give figures)

What It Is
Bid on mixed pallets and gaylords of returned and overstock goods at a local liquidation auction warehouse, haul them home, sort the contents, and list items online. The creator's three-pallet haul included car parts, new-in-box electronics and a bin of ballroom gowns, one of which he says previously sold for about $900 to $1,100. He lists brand-new boxed items first and uses a cross-listing app to post each item on several marketplaces at once (eBay, Poshmark, Mercari), automatically delisting everywhere when it sells, and plans his own Shopify store to avoid marketplace fees.
The Pitch
The creator says a reliable local auction source plus cross-listing lets him move a lot of product, with a goal of $1 million in sales next year, and that selling the same item in several places brings in noticeably more revenue.
Who It’s Best For
People with a truck, storage space and stamina for sorting, photographing and shipping lots of mixed items.
The Truth (as we see it)
Liquidation reselling is real but labor-heavy, and pallets are a gamble: the creator's own haul included cracked, used and unbranded items alongside the winners. Sourcing means in-person pickup at a warehouse, and the work of listing and shipping is where most of the time goes. The video is a vlog with no profit figures. He uses an affiliate code for the cross-listing app he recommends.
