Self-publishing on KDP is accessible and cheap, and a book built on genuine experience stands out from generic AI-written titles. Most self-published books sell few copies, so the YouTube promotion he describes is doing much of the work, and that takes months of consistent posting. Amazon asks authors to disclose AI-generated content, and heavily AI-written text still needs careful human editing. The KDP success story he cites, Sean Dollwet, is a client of his coaching business. Shane Hummus uses the video to promote a free live training and his paid YouTube and personal-branding coaching program.
