What It Is
You take familiar puzzle types such as word search, Sudoku, crosswords and cryptograms and publish them in large-print format with big letters and grids, aimed at seniors. Books are uploaded as PDFs to Amazon KDP, which prints and ships each copy on demand and pays you a royalty. The creator shows a retro crossword book, a Sudoku book and a word search book as examples.
The Pitch
The creator says the point isn't the font size but solving a real problem for people whose eyesight has changed, which makes them loyal, less price-sensitive buyers who come back for the next volume and leave reviews. He shows estimates of $582 to $969, $2,000 to $3,500 and $13,000 to $22,000 a month for three example books, and says books are the model he personally recommends.
Who It’s Best For
Beginners who want a simple, repeatable book product aimed at an older, loyal audience.
The Truth (as we see it)
Large-print puzzle books are a long-standing, steady category on Amazon, and the audience is real. The category is also crowded, and the top examples shown are outliers, not typical results; most books in the niche earn modestly. The creator says he sold his own book portfolio for $820,000, which is his own unverified claim. The creator sells a one-on-one KDP mentorship ("Road to Hero", entered through a free strategy call), and the sales-estimate Chrome plugin he recommends (co-author.ai) is his own tool, so the revenue figures he shows come from his own estimator and are not audited sales data.
