First 90 Days of a Blog

Blog launch: a part-time first-90-days plan (12 posts, 10 backlinks, no monetizing yet)

Startup cost: Low startup cost (our estimate; the video doesn’t give figures)

What It Is

A step-by-step plan for the first 90 days of an affiliate blog built on the side of a full-time job. You set up four core pages (home, about, blog archive, post template), pick a niche, find keywords, publish 12 roughly 2,000-word posts, and spend all your other blog time asking for backlinks. You deliberately skip monetizing for the first 90 days.

The Pitch

Enfroy budgets 10 hours a week: five hours writing (about 266 words a day) and five hours of link-building outreach (about five targeted guest-post or LinkedIn messages a day). His day-90 targets are 12 posts live, about 10 backlinks, and first impressions in Google Search Console. Posts should be 70% product comparison and roundup posts and 30% informational, aimed at emerging products where one or two low-authority sites already rank on page one. He adds one 'link bait' post (such as a top-100 ideas list) and one personal-story post so the site stands out. His stated goal is to match your full-time income within 12 months; he says he did it in seven by working very aggressively.

Who It’s Best For

Someone with a day job and about 10 spare hours a week who can wait three months or more before seeing any income, and who is willing to do cold outreach for links.

The Truth (as we see it)

This video is from 2022, so Google's behavior, AI writing tools and the tool prices he quotes (Ahrefs $199 for a month, WPX hosting $25 a month, Surfer SEO $49 a month) may have changed. Enfroy has since said this older approach of relying on search alone works less well. The plan is refreshingly honest that 90 days is for learning, not earning, and that link building is the hardest part. His own figures (he says he made $299,000 profit in March 2022) are not independently verified. The video promotes his paid Blog Growth Engine course and free masterclass, and recommends WPX, Ahrefs and Surfer SEO.

Our assessment, based on the video and what’s typical across similar videos. We don’t independently verify income claims or prices.
