Ad-supported utility sites are a real model, but the example site has been around for years; a new site earns very little until it ranks, and the creator herself says traffic "has always been pretty hard" and this isn't get-rich-overnight. Display ads pay small amounts per visitor, so meaningful income needs large traffic. The Flippa figure is the creator's report and was not independently checked.
